Balconies overlooking the city
Louis XVI silk hangings with their delicate stripes; classical columns, as in a theater; superb marquetry and gold leaf, set off by signature pink. From the velvet-damasked sofa, it's easy to imagine Maria contemplating the beauty of Paris through the window. Throughout the suite, windows and balconies open onto the City of Light and its enchanting rooftops; Place Vendôme, the Opéra Garnier, the Eiffel Tower...

Luxury with a personal touch
With its sloped ceiling welcoming the natural light, the bedroom is a cocoon of serenity. The seating area is a cozy pastel delight. Details abound: the carved acanthus leaves of the bed, the curved lines of the tulip lamps. The two bathrooms, with their golden swan neck faucets, are equally refined. One opens onto a magnificent dressing room worthy of a diva.

"La Divina" in Paris
Callas was more than an extraordinary voice; she had a definite aura, a presence radiating the intensity of an artist driven by excellence. Her signature role, as Bellini's Norma, was also the most demanding. Her first performance on May 22, 1964, retains a place in the hearts of all opera-loving Parisians. Her interpretation of the famous aria "Casta Diva" was particularly magical.

Whenever she gave a recital in the capital, Maria Callas relied on the Ritz Paris as a discreet refuge from the world's attention. In the suite named in her honor, the legend lives on. Every evening after performances, and between rehearsals, "La Divina" loved to return to the plush luxury of her suite, her haven of peace. A hideaway worthy of - perhaps - the greatest diva of all time.
