The Ritz Experience
Located on Place Vendôme, the iconic Ritz Paris embodies the Parisian "art of living" to perfection. Founded in 1898 by visionary hotelier César Ritz, the hotel was the first to offer rooms with private bathrooms and electricity on every floor. Prized for its modern comforts, exceptional service and understated elegance, the hotel has attracted celebrities from around the world, including Coco Chanel, Ernest Hemingway and Marcel Proust.
In 2021, Ritz Group extended the brand's heritage into new areas. To this end, a high-end boutique patisserie was opened under the name Ritz Paris Le Comptoir. The group is now pursuing further growth through brand licensing arrangements, the development of the Ritz Paris Le Comptoir concept and the exploration of opportunities for the highly selective establishment of future hotels worldwide.

Ritz Paris Le Comptoir
Since 2021, the gourmet boutique from the Ritz Paris has presented the very best in French patisserie at 38 rue Cambon. The creations of François Perret appear in a contemporary setting, to enjoy on the spot or to take away. Voted “best restaurant pastry chef” in 2019, our gourmet virtuoso dreams up pastries reviving the flavors of childhood like the iconic madeleine, alongside pastries and upscale sandwiches. This innovative concept has won over a discerning clientele both French and international. As a symbol of this success, in 2024 the store was awarded the coveted title of “world's best patisserie”.
Ritz brand licensing
As part of its development, the Ritz brand is expanding its presence through licensing agreements exploring the worlds of fashion, accessories, lifestyle, and beauty. This strategy embodies an ambitious vision: to enhance the unique identity and exceptional heritage of Ritz Paris through exclusive collections designed to forge lasting connections with all generations.
