The French "art of living" in all its splendor, Ritz Paris-style.

The Vendôme Suite is exquisitely crafted, with décor both opulent and welcoming, chiselled with infinite detail. The great salon
Abundant daylight accompanies your arrival into the salon, which features both reception area and a second, more intimate space. Throughout the suite, inspirations and eras collide in the subtle eclecticism that encapsultes "Ritz style". Classic French furniture - Louis XV-style desk, Belle Époque sofas, Empire candelabras - sit alongside treasures from the hotel's collection, while the freshness of green shows in shimmering patterns in velvet and damask silk. The daylight is enhanced by golden accents, creating teasing reflections that evoke fine jewelry. It's quite the masterpiece.

The bedrooms
The air of aristocracy in these two immense rooms is unmistakeable, yet it’s mellowed by a relaxed, welcoming feel. These two huge rooms recall a magnificent Parisian mansion, in the style of the great and the good. The interior is meticulously arranged: beautifully scalloped canopy beds, a palette of pastel hues, refined furniture. Through the tall windows, Place Vendôme unfolds before you with its Grand Siècle facades, intriguing shop windows and intrigued passers-by. You could gaze for hours.

Place Vendôme, the centre of elegance
César Ritz was captivated by the harmonious majesty of Place Vendôme, later so central to the story of the Ritz Paris. In 1898, he acquired Number 15 to realise his dream: a new style of hotel offering, as he put it, "the epitome of elegance, luxury, and refinement", where guests from all over the world could feel at home. His vision continues to inspire.

César Ritz's hunch about this neighborhood, close to l’Opéra, proved shrewd. During the Belle Époque, the area saw a proliferation of high-end boutiques - couturiers, milliners, art dealers, centered on the elegant rue Saint Honoré. Once the Ritz opened, Place Vendôme welcomed jewelers, watchmakers, and yet more fashion houses. The square would become the vibrant heart of Parisian luxury, symbol of the elegance that distinguished Paris.
