The Ritz Paris is delighted to unveil its first collection of upcycled tote bags, comprising 40 unique pieces made entirely from the upholstery fabrics that adorn the hotel. By giving these precious fragments a new lease of life, our hotel celebrates the nobility of materials, pays tribute to craftsmanship, and keeps its history alive by embracing a vision of sustainable fashion.
French craftsmanship at its finest
40 modern, stylish tote bags make up this exclusive collection, conceived to enhance your everyday with a distinctly elegant touch. Crafted from the finest materials, the bags feature delicate pastel-colored prints and embroidery bearing the hotel's classic symbols. Each design is unique, a one-off creation that embodies a fragment of the hotel's history. Carefully labeled and individually numbered, each unique piece depends on a tradition of master-craftsmanship where every detail counts. The bags were all hand-made in Cambrai, then decorated by one of France's last surviving embroiderers, renowned for her precision and love of perfect craftsmanship.

When defining the Ritz style, the wife of César Ritz liked to draw inspiration from the Louis XV era, marked by its floral motifs. She called upon the expertise of exceptional suppliers, many of whom still work for the hotel today.
