The Ritz Escoffier School

Auguste Escoffier, the famous creator of Peach Melba and so many other dishes that have given lustre to the name of French cuisine, was the first Head Chef at the Ritz Paris.

True to the spirit of this pioneer of modern cuisine, the cookery school that bears his name is dedicated to handing on his secrets to gourmet cooks from all over the world, with love and creativity, and in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Established as an international reference for amateurs and professionals alike, the Ritz Escoffier School trains new generations of chefs and provides teaching and training geared to the different levels and goals of its students. Lessons alternate theory with practice in an outstanding setting opposite the great kitchen of the Ritz Paris. You will be introduced to all the disciplines of fine cuisine, from pastry-making to a knowledge of wines, from flower-arranging to the secrets of cocktails for which you, in your turn, will be the best ambassadors.
