Salon Proust

Every day from 02:00 to 08:00pm

A place where time seems to stand still, inviting shared confidences. Vintage books, wood paneling, the comfort of an open fire on a cold winter's day... in true Proustian style, sink into a cozy armchair and drink it all in. Revive the atmosphere of a classic literary salon at the same time as rediscovering childhood memories - thanks to the French-style teatime ritual, where François Perret's voluptuous sweets issue an invitation to fond memories.

The Parsian tearoom

Rare teas, exquisite chocolates, a world tour of coffees and other delights. At Salon Proust, gourmet delicacies and l’art de vivre go hand in hand. It's a ritual observed with the utmost attention to detail.

Goûter à la française

Every day from 02:00 to 06:00pm

The Champagne Bar

From 6pm, Salon Proust turns up its festive side and takes on the allure of a champagne bar, celebrating the finesse of the most elegant crus from France's finest houses. For those who appreciate truly exceptional bubbles, now's the time to raise a toast!

Proust's rediscovered memories

Loyal to the Ritz from the start, Marcel Proust would write, dine, and entertain here, all the while imbibing the vibrant life around him. Discreetly seated in a corner of the lobby - his favorite seat was right next to the fireplace - the great writer would spend hours observing guests in the grand gallery. This is how his characters came to life on the page, especially in his most famous novel À La Recherche du Temps Perdu.

Sweet memories, conjured by François Perret

With his playful creations that major on finesse and lightness, our Pastry Chef reinvents the delights of childhood. His desserts toy with tastes and colors, tease the senses and invite stories - like his star creation the madeleine. Inspired by Proust's own celebrated recollection, this fragrant masterpiece takes on an almost ethereal quality.
